No rookies here. All of the Barbers at Oakway Barber Shop have been cutting hair for years. If you’re looking for short haircuts, crew cuts, flat tops or fades, choose any of our barbers. If you’re looking for longer style, schedule with Don, Patience, Gretchen or Debbie.

Don

Conversation starters with Don include poker, trips to Vegas, mountain biking, snowboarding and video games.

Mark

Good conversation starters with Mark are the Oregon Ducks, local fishing and hunting, and anything about the outdoors.

Ask Patience about her favorite trips, local restaurants, books, and places to paddle board. She’s also into anime and video games. And, she loves to hear about your dog.

Debbie

Debbie is our full service Hairstylist & Barber. She does not do Fades or Flat tops but does all Buzz cuts and men’s, boys, kids & senior Haircuts. For styling, coloring, weaves, balayage and other hairstyling services, CLICK HERE to see her prices and complete list of services.

Gretchen

Gretchen is a dog mom, Christmas enthusiast and loves a giant bowl of pasta. She’s been cutting hair for over 13 years with experience in all barber cuts, fades and textured haircuts. She wants to hear about your favorite travels and music recommendations.

Our History

Oakway Barber Shop is the longest continuous tenant in Oakway Center. The owners have always been Barbers, since 1967 when Jim Hayward opened Oakway Center Barbershop. In 1982, Bob Miller bought the shop and expanded the retail sales of shampoos, conditioners, and other hair products.

30-years-later, long-time Barber Don Gurney purchased the shop and retail store in May 2022. During that summer the location goes through an extensive remodel and reopens as Oakway Barber Shop and Oakway Beauty Supply.
